J-Crib Pumpable Cribs

Jennchem’s JCU1 purpose designed long distance underground pumping system was mobilised to Appin West mine during the second half of 2024 to setup for the installation of pumpable cribs for longwall support in 2025.

In early 2025, the JCU1 equipment completed underground commissioning with the successful installation of pumpable cribs more than 5km from the underground pumping station, doubling the industry benchmark.

Since the successful trial Jennchem is now contracted to supply and install pumpable cribs at Appin West Mine and have recently started work on longwall seals design and certification.
