2018 - 2023
Jennchem was the contracted supplier and installer of underground pumpable cribs, longwall and final seals at Centurion mine from July 2015 until operations ceased in late 2018. During that time, more than 2,000 pumpable cribs and 37 seals were installed using Jennchem Australia’s pilot surface to seam pumping equipment - JC01.
The JC01 System, (utilising low strength J-Crib Grout) was also used to backfill gas draining stubs in multiple tailgates, these backfills could be done either in-situ or remotely during longwall production. 24 x 300m3 gas drainage stubs were backfilled during Jennchem’s tenure at Centurion Mine
When operations recommenced in 2023, Jennchem was again contracted to supply and install ventilation seals, with 30 seals installed to complete the re-entry to the mine.
